About the position

You will work with our engineers, product owners and the rest of our QA team at every stage of the development process to ensure that our products reliably provide value to our customers.

The task involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders including researchers, product owners, and upper management to understand the vision, technology, and customer needs behind upcoming releases.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with cross-functional teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of upcoming releases.
  • Supporting engineers during research, development, and testing activities.
  • Designing, developing, and implementing test standards.
  • Planning, executing, and overseeing inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing products.
  • Collecting information to design and document reusable test scripts.
  • Working closely with engineers to diagnose issues, resolve defects, and ensure that product releases follow project specifications.

Job requirements

  • Proven track record and competency in Quality Assurance roles for SaaS products, including test planning, test case design, test case prioritization, test case execution, bug reporting & tracking.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a related role.
  • Experience in testing web applications, including both back-end systems and front-end GUIs, web services, and relational databases.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices, and defect management practice.
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript/JQuery, HTML5, XML, SQL queries and RDBMS.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a self-motivated, driven way in a highly dynamic environment with changing requirements, tight deadlines, and multi-tasking.
  • High level of spoken and written fluency in English, including ability to produce clear, readable documentation.
  • BSc / MSc university degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
