Cyber Security Analyst Role Overview

This position involves working with our team to enhance clients' preparedness for cyber-attacks by expanding their visibility over networks and systems through cutting-edge technology, building and maturing their attack detection capability, proactively identifying potential indicators of compromise, and supporting them in responding to cyber incidents should the need arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct advanced cyber security analysis to detect adversaries that may have bypassed conventional controls remaining undetected in our clients' networks and systems.
  • Analyze network and system activity on client systems leveraging technologies such as EDR, XDR and SIEM, to support detection capability development and incident response efforts.
  • Face and solve client cyber threat prevention, detection, and response challenges in an innovative and effective way.
  • Enable clients to respond to cyber incidents swiftly and effectively supporting containment, eradication, remediation and recovery efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience preferably in a Cyber Security Analyst or Cyber Security Engineer role will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux systems.
  • Solid understanding of core networking and operating systems concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Scripting skills (Python, Powershell, Bash etc.) would be considered advantageous.
