Pricing Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst to join our team. As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing price perception for shoppers at Alpha Beta stores.

The primary focus of this role is to analyze and consult with Category Teams on the price structure of their categories, in order to optimize competitiveness within the pricing policy guidelines.

This requires the ability to understand the categories structure and objectives, as well as what data is available, in order to identify strong and weak points, spot opportunities and threats.

You will apply the price structure to the pricing tool to monitor and compare against competition and measure the impact in turnover and gross profit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze internal and market pricing data
• Evaluate product categories and recommend optimal pricing structure to maximize competitiveness
• Contribute to pricing policy implementation
• Use pricing tools
• Collaborate with Category Managers, Buying Directors and other departments
• Monitor pricing execution and optimize AB Pricing Competitiveness

Requirements:

• BSc in Business Administration or any other relevant field
• MSc / MBA would be considered an asset
• Working experience of at least 3-5 years in Retail Category Management or FMCG data analytics, preferably at a multinational environment
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Fluency in English language, both written and spoken
