Junior Financial Analyst Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team in Athens.

The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in an international team environment.

  • Assist in preparing financial models using historical data and provide forecasts based on industry-related metrics.
  • Conduct economic analysis for existing/new oil and gas projects across various regions.
  • Analyze financial metrics in specific projects (revenue, profitability, cost, etc.).
  • Apply sensitivity and scenario analysis to support investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities

The Junior Financial Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Preparing financial reports and presentations for Management and external stakeholders.
  • Researching industry trends and analyzing economic factors such as inflation, foreign exchange, and commodity prices.
  • Supporting credit processes, loan monitoring, and reporting for Lenders and Banks.
  • Assisting in debt-raising activities, including company presentations, financial modeling, due diligence, and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, accounting, banking, or advisory.
  • Excellent command of English language (oral and written communication).
  • Computer literacy and experience with MS Office suite of applications.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
