Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Accounting Director to spearhead our Finance Division. This role is ideal for a finance professional with in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the smooth operation of the Accounting Department.
• Supervise monthly and annual closings, the preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) in accordance with IFRS standards.
• Coordinate the budgeting process and monitor budget vs. actuals, providing insights into variances and potential financial risks.
• Perform monthly reconciliations across ERP modules (purchases, sales, payroll, fixed assets, VAT, INTRASTAT).
• Lead the process for proper data submission to MyDATA and support external audits and inspections.

Requirements:
• At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting, with 2+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant field (Master's degree is a plus).
• Valid A' Class Accountant license.
• Deep knowledge of Greek tax, labor, and commercial legislation, as well as IFRS standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluency in Greek and a very good command of English.
• High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
