Database Administrator Role

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team. This key role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining databases to support our business operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. They will also be responsible for ensuring the high availability and security of our database systems.

  • Administer, configure, and maintain SQL Server database instances
  • Oversee database backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning
  • Implement, monitor, and enforce database security policies
  • Tune SQL queries, indexes, and database configurations to optimize performance
  • Analyze database performance and troubleshoot issues related to database performance, bottlenecks, and resource usage

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in SQL Server database administration
  • Strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
  • Proven experience in high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies
  • Good knowledge of cloud environments and containerization technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex database issues
