Job Title: Costing Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Costing Specialist to join our team at our Athens Headquarters. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for facilitating and ensuring the integrity of cost accounting information and contributing actively to the development of new systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities by reviewing manufacturing orders and contacting appropriate sources to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor all inventory movements and ensure that proper adjustments and corrections are made.
  • Facilitate proper balance sheet valuation and engage in product pre-costing procedures.
  • Support the periodic cycle/year-end stock count process and participate in ad-hoc projects, requests, and reports.
  • Contribute to the development, execution, and completion of new systems, procedures, and process improvements.
  • Work in accordance with the requirements of the written Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Directives, and Protocols of the company's Quality System.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in industrial cost accounting or a relevant field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Greek and English).
  • SAP proficiency (MM, PP, FI, CO).
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • High standards of business ethics and professional conduct.
  • Team player with a collaborative approach and ability to work effectively across functions.
