Site Engineer Concrete Works Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to oversee the concrete construction process on our high-end industrial building project in East Attica. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and compliance of the concrete works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review construction plans and drawings for concrete works, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate and supervise concrete works, including placement, curing, and finishing, to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Monitor and inspect concrete mix designs and pouring activities to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Ensure all concrete works adhere to industry standards, quality control measures, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests to assess concrete quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Compile progress reports and communicate updates to project stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in concrete construction, focusing on site engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete mix design, placement techniques, and curing methods.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, best practices, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
