Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the payroll department, you will be responsible for executing monthly payroll for employees in Greece and potentially other Group countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute monthly payroll:
    • Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits to employees.
    • Verify payroll data for completeness and correctness.
  • Collect, analyze, and process payroll-related data:
    • Collect and analyze payroll-related data such as overtime, shifts, leaves, bonuses, and other compensation components.
    • Process payroll data in accordance with local legislation and internal policies.
  • Prepare and submit mandatory documentation:
    • Prepare and submit mandatory documentation to authorities (e.g., ERGANI, EFKA, Tax Office).
  • Generate reports and support analytics:
    • Generate reports for management, Finance, and other stakeholders to support payroll cost analysis, budgeting, and auditing.
  • Improve payroll procedures:
    • Evaluate and propose improvements to payroll procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Serve as main point of contact:
    • Serve as the main point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HRM, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Finance, HRM is considered a plus.
  • 2–4 years of experience in payroll processing in a large organization or a payroll outsourcing/consulting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Greek labor and social security legislation.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll platforms and ERP systems.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Fluency in English and Greek, both written and spoken.
