Financial Analyst Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, gathering and interpretation of technical, financial and economic data for financial analysis used for strategic decision making such as investment decisions and funding needs.

The role involves updating financial models using historical data and providing forecasts based on various metrics. It also includes conducting economic analysis for existing and new oil and gas projects across multiple areas of operations in Europe and the Middle East (NPV, IRR, ROI). Additionally, analyzing financial metrics in specific projects (revenue, profitability, cost, etc.) and applying sensitivity and scenario analysis to support investment decisions.

The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mind with excellent Excel skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of an international team. A bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related field is required, along with at least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, accounting, banking or advisory.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Update financial models using historical data and provide forecasts based on various industry-related metrics.
• Conduct economic analysis for existing/new oil and gas projects across our areas of operations.
• Analyze financial metrics in specific projects (revenue, profitability, cost, etc.).
• Apply appropriate sensitivity and scenario analysis to support investment decisions.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations for management, board of directors, or external stakeholders.
• Research industry trends and analyze economic factors such as inflation, foreign exchange, and commodity prices.
• Support credit processes, loan monitoring, and reporting for lenders and banks.
• Support debt raising activities, including company presentations, financial modeling, due diligence, and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.
