Junior Data Scientist Position Overview">

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Junior Data Scientist and gain valuable experience in the development of pricing models and associated tools.

As a key member of our Data Science team, you will collaborate closely with senior data scientists and engineers on real-world projects that span software development, data engineering, and machine learning workflows.

Key responsibilities include supporting the development, testing, and validation of financial pricing models, assisting with code refactoring and documentation, contributing to internal tools and platforms used by the Data Science team, and learning and applying best practices in software development, version control, and model deployment.

Required Skills and Qualifications">

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in computer science or a related field, proficiency in Python programming language, basic object-oriented programming concepts, and experience with version control tools like Git.

Additionally, you should be eager to learn modern data tools and workflows, including AWS, Databricks, and ML pipelines.

Key qualifications include:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or another STEM discipline
  • Familiarity with Python, basic OOP programming concepts, and version control tools like Git
  • Eagerness to learn modern data tools and workflows, including AWS, Databricks, and ML pipelines
