In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, building and maintaining Android applications that enable millions of learners worldwide. You'll work in a fast-paced corporate environment where you'll have the opportunity to grow your skills and make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Design and build advanced mobile apps for the Android platform.
  • Implement new features using MVVM, Repository pattern and clean architecture.
  • Maintain and refactor parts of our legacy codebase written in Java.
  • Work closely with product, design and backend teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
  • Leverage and contribute to our shared Design System for consistent UI across platforms.
  • Work with outside data sources and APIs.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of the applications.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in Android development.
  • Proficient in Kotlin with a solid understanding of Java.
  • Hands-on experience with MVVM, Repository pattern and modern Android architecture.
  • Familiarity with Git technology as well as server communication technologies (HTTP, REST etc).
  • Comfortable working with existing Java code when needed.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent proven experience in the field.
