Accountant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team at Lindian Village All Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, supporting operations and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

• Records and files operating expenses documents / cash inflows and outflows / fixed assets
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Reconciles balances with suppliers
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Ensures legislation is followed regarding all Hotel related legal issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar
• Minimum three years' experience in Hospitality
• Ideally work experience in luxury hotels / international hospitality groups
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures and strong analytical and numerical skills
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Very good command of the English language
• Confidentiality & ethical approach to work
