Bell Captain Job Description

The Bell Captain is a key member of the hotel's front-line team, responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests during their arrival and departure experiences. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the bell team to ensure seamless guest arrivals and departures.
  • Greet guests warmly and provide assistance with luggage handling and special requests.
  • Manage arrival and departure procedures to minimize wait times and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Offer personalized recommendations on local attractions, dining, and services to enrich the guest experience.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bell lobby and equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as a Bell Captain, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a bell or concierge role in a luxury hotel setting.
  • Strong hospitality skills, with a genuine passion for providing exceptional service to guests.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
  • Ability to engage and build rapport with diverse clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift and transport luggage, withstanding extended periods of standing or walking.
  • Familiarity with local attractions, dining, and services to provide accurate recommendations.
