Manual Tester

We are looking for an experienced Manual Tester to join an innovative team

As a Manual Tester, you will work as an expert across Banking Application implementation projects. You will have the opportunity to work close to our clients, in order to understand their requirements and to translate them to functional specifications.

This is a full time onsite job

key responsibilities

Be able to understand business requirementsCreate and execute test cases for the business requirementsBe able to create/search test data for test casesIdentify dependencies on external and internal applications and perform test in cases with multiple integrations and systemsExecute test cases using automation solution and / or manuallyReport test statusLog and document defects with proper traces/screenshots/description for the development team. Have close communication with development team for defect analysis.Support defect resolution and analyze the test outcome for continuous improvements.

qualifications Bachelor / Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.Proven experience as a testing engineer for at least 2 years.Be able to work with Hybrid model.Knowledge/understanding of Financial Services/Banking testing and manual testing methodologyGood knowledge of Jira Testing Tool or similarExperience in documenting test scenarios and test cases, executing test cases to verify that a systemic/application is built as per the requirements.Experience in working and interacting with client facing, technology and project management teams.Strong documentation skills, problem solving, organization and communication skillsKnowledge and experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Rational tester, Jmeter, Cucumber etc.) will be considered positively
