key responsibilities
- Ensure Accuracy in Accounts Receivable Operations: Guarantee the accurate recording of Accounts Receivables entries to comply with tax and accounting regulations. Address issues and provide support on Accounts Payable tools and procedures upon reques
- Facilitate the Travel & Expense Process: Ensure the smooth operation of the T&E process in line with local policy and Corporate Travel Directive. Perform intermediate account reconciliation, review and update policy and audit rules and communicate ef
- Manage Audit and Control Activities: Provide excellent support for both external and internal audits. Regularly perform ICS controls in the designated area of responsibility and offer specialized ad hoc support and project assistance.
- Perform Manual GL Postings: Execute manual GL postings through WPA and HB1-related evaluations & postings as outlined in the activity split, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures.
- Collaborate on Closing Process Management: Work closely with the SSO Organization to ensure a high-quality closing process, reviewing results and addressing impending losses by performing manual postings when necessary.
- Manage Accounts Payable Operations: Take charge of end-to-end invoice processing, including receiving, scanning, and archiving locally received invoices. Provide local ad hoc support for unapproved invoices and prepare country-specific reports as req
- Oversee the Maintenance of General Ledger: Ensure the creation, modification, monitoring, and cleanup of GLÂ master data and country-specific accounts, following defined work procedures.
- Offer ad hoc support and project assistance specific to own area of expertise, ensuring effective collaboration with SSO for stabilization and processing posting requests from non-accounting functions.

qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of internal and external Accounting.
- Fluency in Greek and English (both written and verbal)
- Integrity to ensure full compliance with external and internal laws and regulations.
- Bachelorâs degree from a reputable university in a relevant field (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration etc.).
- MBA or Masterâs degree will be considered an asset.
- Aâ class accounting license provided by the economic chamber of Greece is required.
- Detailed knowledge of International Accounting standards, IFRS, Group Finance and Administrative Guidelines.
- Advanced ERP Accounting Software / BI knowledge â SAP required.
- At least 5 years of previous working experience in accounting or finance department.
- Strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulations as well as strong understanding of international tax rules and transfer pricing practices and policies.
- Strong communication skills (conflict management, moderation, customer focus), open and pro-active character to interact in a professional and productive way to build and maintain business relations with interface functions.
