The Senior Android Engineer position is full time and permanent, based in Athens' Northern Suburbs. The working model is flexible.

key responsibilities

  • Lead projects from inception to successful delivery, aligning with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Keep up with the latest Android SDK, tools and conventions.
  • Collaboratively define, design, and deliver new features with iOS, Web and backend engineers, UI/UX designers, and product managers.
  • Ensure software robustness with comprehensive unit and integration testing, addressing edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  • Initiate and drive personal project initiatives from idea to app integration.

    5+ years of engineering experience in shipping real-world production Android applications.

      qualifications

      • 5+ years of engineering experience in shipping real-world production Android applications.
      • Passion about mobile platforms and solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
      • Excellent knowledge of Kotlin and Java.
      • Experience with one or more of the following architecture design patterns: MVP, MVVM, Clean architecture.
      • Proficiency with Jetpack Compose, Room, Kotlin Coroutines, ReactiveX.
      • Strong knowledge of design principles, patterns, and best practices in application development.
      • Experience in leading medium to large-scale projects.
      • University and/or Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
      • Familiarity with integration/functional/UI automation testing, is a plus.
      • Analytic tool experience and data driven culture, is a plus.
      • Experience in CI tools (github actions or familiar tools), is a plus.
