key responsibilities

  • Planning, assigning, and coordinating shipments to/from Greece and abroad using various transportation methods (sea, air)
  • Communicating with clients and suppliers regarding the progress of shipments and resolving any transportation issues.
  • Management of pre sales and after sales communication with partners
  • Supervising and managing both domestic and international shipments (creating loading documents based on Incoterms, issuing CMR, filing complaints with carriers, etc.)
  • Issuing transport documents and invoices
  • Communicating with transport companies to ensure the timely transportation and delivery of goods
  • Liaising with the warehouse to monitor the preparation of shipments according to customer instructions
  • Continuous research on international transportation costs

    experience

    • 1 year of experience in imports/exports positions
    • Prior experience in a similar position in transportation methods (sea,road)
    • Global mindset willing to adapt in a multicultural environment

      • Strong organizational skills

        qualifications

        • Graduate of a Technical Institute or College
        • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language
        • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
