About the job

We are seeking a skilled individual to take charge of our purchasing and demand planning processes, contributing to the overall success and sustainability of our organization.

Main Responsibilities:

•    Own the demand planning process for the medium & long term across all categories
•    Responsible to create and execute the purchase plan for all products 
•    Responsible for KPI’s (Forecast Accuracy, ITO, Product availability)
•    Monitors and ensures accurate stocks and co-ordinates the obsolete and slow-moving stock reduction
•    Establish string relationships with Sales and Marketing for forecast optimisation
•    Cooperate on with warehouse, suppliers and external transport agencies to ensure the smooth operation
•    Product master data maintenance
•    Logistics procedures coordination

Your tasks

•    Develops a forecast plan with Sales and Marketing teams for all market products
•    Manages end to end the purchasing order plan to ensure sufficient stocks, according to sales forecast and business strategies
•    Creates Material Requirement Planning (MRP) 
•    Places orders and creates the warehouse delivery plan on weekly basis
•    Coordinates Shipments’ clearances 
•    Maintains effective working relations with external transport agencies
•    Arrange collection and delivery of products.
•    Reports stock inventory levels and delivery plan to Sales and Customer Service Teams
•    Ensures that commercial terms & conditions for orders are met
 

Requirements

Education

University Degree preferably in areas of Business Administration, Mathematics or Engineering Field

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing role – preferably familiar with demand planning procedures

Qualification

Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, well organized and being able to manage priorities

Language Skills

Good knowledge of English language

Computer Skills

Very good Microsoft office skills with strong Excel knowledge. Forecasting and ERP tools knowledge will be considered an asset
